Overview
Octa Frames is an e-commerce website built for a business selling spectacles and sunglasses online. Eyewear is a highly visual category, so the experience centres on visual product discovery: customers need to scan a catalogue, distinguish styles at a glance, and move confidently between product information and shopping actions without the interface getting in the way of browsing itself. iEncode Tech designed the product-focused interface, built the catalogue and e-commerce workflows on WordPress, and delivered the complete responsive website end to end, giving the business a storefront the team can update independently while keeping the shopping experience consistent across desktop and mobile devices.
Key Features
- Product-focused interface design built around visual comparison
- Structured catalogue browsing with consistent image presentation
- Responsive layouts purpose-built for mobile and desktop, not compressed between them
- Complete e-commerce workflows from discovery through checkout
- Full website implementation delivered end to end
Design priorities
Eyewear is a highly visual category, so spacing, image prominence, naming, and browse controls carry much of the experience. The interface was designed to give products room to be compared properly while keeping navigation and commerce actions easy to locate, so customers never lose track of how to move from browsing into a purchase.
Challenges & Solutions
Visually driven catalogues can easily tip too far in either direction: dense grids that prioritise volume over clarity, or spacious layouts that make comparison slow. iEncode Tech treated catalogue structure, spacing, and product pathways as one connected system, tuning image presentation and layout hierarchy specifically for how customers compare frames, then carrying that same discipline through to responsive behaviour so smaller screens preserved useful product context instead of hiding it.
Technologies Used
WordPresspowers the storefront, chosen for a content-management foundation that lets the Octa Frames team update the catalogue, imagery, and product copy without depending on engineering support for routine changes, while still supporting a fully custom, product-focused design rather than a generic template.AWS(EC2, Lambda, S3, Route 53) hosts the site and its assets, giving the storefront reliable uptime, scalable image delivery for a highly visual catalogue, and managed DNS.
No virtual try-on or other unconfirmed feature is claimed here; this page describes only the delivered WordPress e-commerce build and its AWS infrastructure.
Results & Impact
iEncode Tech delivered the product-focused UI/UX, catalogue experience, e-commerce functionality, and complete responsive website implementation on a WordPress and AWS foundation, giving Octa Frames a storefront that is both easy for the business to maintain and built specifically around how customers actually shop for eyewear: visually, comparatively, and across whatever device they happen to be using.
